The problem I lived
I built and ran an insurance agency. I lived the cost of stitching tools together: one vendor for the website, another for the portal, another for quoting.
Getting online took too long. The “enterprise” options were expensive, closed and slow to implement.
Why now
AI changed what software can do. But business software was built before it, and AI got bolted on to every tool separately.
So I built it the other way round: one platform with Canopy, our AI, at the center.
Where I come from
I spent more than a decade on the front line against some of the world’s most advanced threats. I served in government at the Department of Defense (Department of the Navy), and at Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs, working on classified programs known for next-generation development.
I also built a data center from the ground up, starting from raw space.
That is why security is not a feature here. It is where we started.
